Overview

The Evelyn D. Ang – Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies (EDA-IBEHT) was established to address the growing need for common service facilities, technical support, and capacity-building programmes in health technologies development. The institute serves as a collaborative platform enabling knowledge exchange between engineering and medical communities, while also strengthening national capability in biomedical engineering research.

Contribution

I co-authored the project proposal for the establishment of the physical facility and the capacity-building programme that would later become the EDA-IBEHT at De La Salle University. I also prepared the technical documentation, including the justification of resources, project plan, and budget submitted to the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST), supporting the successful approval of the initiative.
